Nicho Barnard is an Award-Winning Singer, Actor, Film Director, Producer & Writer. He is also specialized in the Musical Theatre Industry, having directed, produced and starred in many theatre productions, some of which he has won International Awards for and received International Recognition.
Over and above that, Nicho is the Founder and CEO of SAFATA (The South African Film, Acting & Theatre Academy), The Director & Founder of a Short Form Film Production Company NIGHTLIGHT PRODUCTIONS and one of the Directors of WINDMILL PRODUCTIONS - a long form, international film development and production company based in South Africa. Nicho is the Executive Producer & Showrunner for an International Television Series set to air and be released locally and internationally on Amazon Video. This makes Nicho the youngest Television Showrunner in History. As of 2018, Nicho is also a chosen / selected YOUTH DIPLOMAT for South Africa and was asked to host one of the most listened to Online Radio Talk Shows in South Africa, with listeners world wide - called LET'S TALK SHOWBIZ. . .
Being the holder of two musical theatre degrees obtained from the Trinity College of London and London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts, several qualification in Film and Television Directing, Producing & Writing and having attended a Masterclass with Creator of Grey's Anatomy, Shonda Rhimes - Nicho continue to fight the good fight to make positive change within the South African Entertainment & Media Industry and Youth.
Vara Kane is a professional Actor based in London with a background in Dance. She started her journey with Talent Africa, competing internationally as a dancer. In 2012, Vara began her training at Broadway Dance Center in New York City, where she built a strong dance foundation under industry talent such as Derek Mitchell, Jared Jenkins and Jim Cooney.
From 2014 - 2016 Vara attended LaGuardia Community College and received an Associates Degree in Theatre. During her time there, she competed as a finalist in The Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival as well as worked with LPAC under the Artistic producing director Steven Hitt and associate director Handan Ozbilgin for various projects.Shortly after her time at LaGuardia, Vara moved to England to further her training in Acting. Vara received a place at the accredited drama conservatoire, Arts Educational Schools in London where she graduated with a Masters Degree in Acting. Vara is now represented by Cre8 Talent Agency for TV, Film and Commercial work and is also currently in her 200 hour Vinyasa Yoga teacher training. She looks forward to the year ahead!
