Anina Wasserman is a dynamic and versatile singer. She commenced vocal studies with Emma Renzi at Thswane University of Technology Dept of Performing Arts, and graduated Cum Laude. Apart from receiving numerous awards and bursaries, she was awarded the Councils’ Medal for the most outstanding academic achievement in the Department of the Performing Arts.
Anina established herself as a firm favourite with audiences. Roles such as Gilda (Rigoletto) Adele & the Countess ( Die Fledermaus) Marie ( La fille du Regiment) Norina (Don Pasquale) Mde Herz (r Schauspieldirektor) and the Queen of the Night ( Die Zauberflote) were met with great success. Her renditions of Violetta (La Traviata) and Lucia (Lucia di Lammermoor) were nominated twice as one of the 10 Best Musical Events in Gauteng, and she received a Special Merit Award by the Arts & Culture Benefit foundation in recognition of her interpretation of Violetta (La Traviata).
She continued her studies at the Hochschule fur Musik in Munchen, and in Italy with Franco Corelli, Renata Scotto and the famed tenor Carlo Bergonzi whom accepted her to join his Accademia Verdiana.
She performed for Salon Music at Brooklyn Theatre, KZN Philharmonic, National Theatre Namibia, Eastern Cape Philharmonic, Nederburg, La Motte and Oude Libertas. Anina recorded “Parla : the Art of Anina Wasserman”, “Vienna City of my dreams” and “Celebration”a special 10 year celebration DVD for Salon Music.
Anina lectured in voice technique and Italian at the Thswane University of Technology Department of Performing Arts from 2010 – 2015. She was appointed as external examinator and adjudicates Eistedfodds on a regular basis.
During 2015 and 2017 she toured the United States, commencing in San Antonio, Texas, where she was invited to record a special Christmas Programme in Washington DC for the Christian International channel “Hope”.


Esté Pienaar

Esté is well-known as adjudicator, motivational speaker and entertainer with her one man shows. She obtained her LTCL-licentiate Drama Cum Laude and has distinguished herself as an authority in the field of drama-directing.
She has received various awards and accolades, amongst others, a Naledi for Best Director: Community Theatre, an Icon Award for Community Service in Education from the A.T.K.V and her drama pupils represent South Africa in India during the International Performing Arts Week for Children. Various successful productions for children were staged at KKNK and Aardklop.
In collaboration with Laurika Rauch and Klopjag, the CD “Ouhout” was released in the Centurion Theatre. Some of her pupils have excelled eg. Neil Sandilands, currently starring in the American series “Flash” on television, and Anton Schmidt starring as “Brett Adler” in ”Binnelanders”.
Currently, she is the Cultural Director at Monument High School which received the award “Cultural School for 2017 – Gauteng West Region. This enables her to stay up to date with various cultural, and in particular, Drama trends.


Joshua Cronwright

Joshua has won various male solo medals for vocals in SA CHAMPIONSHIPS FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS and SATCH where he was chosen to represent SA in the USA,2 time winner for WEST RAND STARS and participated in RACA EISTEDDORD where he won a special award for Male Solo, highest marks in his age category Joshua was runner up at Idols for Noordheuwel Highschool and also participated in 2 musicals where he starred in a lead role during his matric year.
He has been a staff member for Talent Africa for 5 years as a backstage manager. Furthermore he has completed two acting diplomas with Brumilda Van Rensburg
Another passion and current adventure is being a hair stylist at Espavo Hair Design. As a stylist his services are regulary called for at various events, including that of Mrs South Africa


JP Rossouw

JP realised his passion for the performing arts at a young stage in his life. After High School he studied Musical Theatre at Oakfields College, Faculty of Dance and Musical Theatre

His TV work includes a guest performance on Idols with Flash Republic, an international Dulux advert and a music video with Juanita Du Plessis. He was also a Presenter on the children’s educational program Rivoningo on SABC 2


Llewellyn Barnard

Born and bred in Port Elizabeth – 20/12/1989.
Matriculated in 2008 from D.F. Malherbe High School.
In 2007 won the D.F. “Applous” Floating Trophy for Ballroom and Latin Dance, was the Best Dancer during the International Ballroom and Latin Social Dance Exams and received his Pre-Bronze Diploma for Ballroom and Latin Dance Exams.
In 2008 won the Dance Trophy for the Best Dancer of the Year, received a Merit Award for Speech and Drama, during the Interschool Ballroom and Latin Dance Competition won the Best Couple Award and received his Bronze Diploma for Latin Dance Exams.
In 2009 received his Bronze Diploma for Ballroom Dance Exams, Silver and Gold Diploma for Latin Dance Exams, was part of the cast in Breek-‘n-Been the musical, participated in Mr Varsity College made the top 5 and was Mr Summer 2009 2nd Prince.
In 2010 was part of the cast in Showtime (PE we can do It), The Producers and Back to Broadway Musicals.
Also 2010 he was in the cast as a dancer and singer in the High School Musical Stage production and was selected by FIFA to dance as entertainment at The Opera House during the 2010 Soccer World Cup.
Studied Business Management and Entrepreneurship at Varsity College, graduated in 2010 and achieved the top student award throughout his course, he was the only student who achieved honours.
Started working at FNB in 2011 as a teller and worked himself up to his current post which is an Online Portfolio Manager for Business Online Banking Enterprise.
In 2011 he received SA Colours for hip hop crew dancing (with Dance Enigma Crew) and qualified to represent South Africa at the World Championships.
In 2012 he was a nominee for a BAMA award (Bay Area Music Award) for Hip Hop Crew dancing with Dance Enigma Crew.
In 2013 he qualified to be a Body Builder Judge for IFBB (International Federation of Bodybuilding and fitness).
In 2015 he was one of Die Burger Boardwalk Mr PE top 12 finalists.
He is former Mr Nelson Mandela Bay 2015, Mr Face of Role Models 2016 and Mr Eastern Cape 2016.
In 2016 he received Eastern Province Colours for Modelling, he decided not to compete at Nationals, but to rather concentrate on his Mr Eastern Cape duties, he was also selected and Scouted by Just You Model and Artist Management for their International Talent Showcase for Modelling and Katz Models.
In 2017 he again received Eastern Province Colours for Modelling and Dancing and was selected in the South African National team for Modelling and Dancing at the National Federation of Talent Africa Championships and qualified to represent South Africa at World Championships Talent America in New York.
He and his dance partner won Best Duet Dance Award at Talent Africa 2017 for their Hip-Hop Duet Routine.
He also won Best Personality (Senior) Award and placed in the Top 10 for Modelling and win Mr Senior Talent Africa 2017.
He received again this year 2018 Eastern Cape Colours for Modelling and Dancing and was selected in the South African National team for Modelling and Dancing at the National Federation of Talent Africa Championships and again qualified to represent South Africa at World Championships Talent America in New York.
At Talent Africa Nationals in 2018 he won Best Senior Technique, Overall Senior Model and Placed in the Top 10 for Modelling.
He won Senior Face of Talent Africa 2018 and for a 2nd year in a row Mr Senior Talent Africa 2018.
Mr Bully Busters 2018 Winner – A pageant to stand up and speak out, creating awareness to stop bullying.
One of his biggest achievements is winning Mr Pure-Model World 2018.
He has judged more than 100 competitions from Talent Shows to Pageants in the last 3 years.
He is the owner and founder of Face of PE (People Empowerment) – Empowering the Community.
Co-Owner of Star Models.
He has a passion to assist with organising events for example charity work and giving back to the community, a motivational speaker and entertainer.

Nicho Barnard

Nicho Barnard is an Award-Winning Singer, Actor, Film Director, Producer & Writer. He is also specialized in the Musical Theatre Industry, having directed, produced and starred in many theatre productions, some of which he has won International Awards for and received International Recognition. 

Over and above that, Nicho is the Founder and CEO of SAFATA (The South African Film, Acting & Theatre Academy), The Director & Founder of a Short Form Film Production Company NIGHTLIGHT PRODUCTIONS and one of the Directors of WINDMILL PRODUCTIONS - a long form, international film development and production company based in South Africa. Nicho is the Executive Producer & Showrunner for an International Television Series set to air and be released locally and internationally on Amazon Video. This makes Nicho the youngest Television Showrunner in History. As of 2018, Nicho is also a chosen / selected YOUTH DIPLOMAT for South Africa and was asked to host one of the most listened to Online Radio Talk Shows in South Africa, with listeners world wide - called LET'S TALK SHOWBIZ. . . 

Being the holder of two musical theatre degrees obtained from the Trinity College of London and London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts, several qualification in Film and Television Directing, Producing & Writing and having attended a Masterclass with Creator of Grey's Anatomy, Shonda Rhimes - Nicho continue to fight the good fight to make positive change within the South African Entertainment & Media Industry and Youth.


Rodney Luke Prins

Matriculated at Randfontein High School in 2006 since then he has taught dance studies and creative arts at this performing arts high school.

Rodney studied musical theatre at Tshwane University of Technology and Advanced Project management through the University of Cape town.

Rodney has been the project manager for the RACA Eisteddfod since 2015 which received close to 15 000 entries in 2018. The marketing and public relations manager for Randfontein High School and Twinkle Stars Daycare and Educational Centre.

Saranti Reeders is best known for her performance in the Kyk-net series, Liriekeraai. She has, however been involved in music since she started playing the piano at age 3.
She has worked professionally in the industry since 1993 and has been involved in more than fifty productions in virtually every theatre and venue as music director, arranger, composer, accompanist and vocalist. She has extensive experience in many corporate functions, involving direction, scoring, arranging and performing. This includes directing shows and performing for the Barnyard for 5 years and helping as adjudicator and arranger at the house concerts at Tuks and UJ and directing major productions at numerous high schools.
She wrote and introduced the music module at AFDA and taught it there for four years and also at WITS Drama Department.
In the four piece acoustic band Keep The Change, who opened for Crosby, Stills and Nash when they toured South Africa, she was the vocal arranger as well as performing vocals.
She has performed at KKNK and Aardklop and Grahamstown festivals with 2 of her own one-woman shows and a 5-hander sketch musical comedy for which she wrote all the music.
She acted in Casper de Vries’ series Haak en Steek, Villa Rosa, and Binnelanders.
She starred as the Butterfly in the children’s programme Peekiboo on M-NET, for which she wrote 25 original songs and 100 short stories.
For the last 15 years she is the director and also teaches piano, voice, ear training and drums at her music school in Auckland Park and regularly presents vocal courses at THE SABC for aspiring presenters. She is a qualified Kindermusik educator and taught 7 years collectively as class music teacher for pre-primary, primary and high school.
Her passion is voice and she has had 9 voice coaches in the last 30 years, always searching to learn more. Presently she has been training for 9 years with the famous and celebrated voice coach Ms. Emma Renzi.

Vara Kane

Vara Kane is a professional Actor based in London with a background in Dance. She started her journey with Talent Africa, competing internationally as a dancer. In 2012, Vara began her training at Broadway Dance Center in New York City, where she built a strong dance foundation under industry talent such as Derek Mitchell, Jared Jenkins and Jim Cooney.

From 2014 - 2016 Vara attended LaGuardia Community College and received an Associates Degree in Theatre. During her time there, she competed as a finalist in The Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival as well as worked with LPAC under the Artistic producing director Steven Hitt and associate director Handan Ozbilgin for various projects.Shortly after her time at LaGuardia, Vara moved to England to further her training in Acting. Vara received a place at the accredited drama conservatoire, Arts Educational Schools in London where she graduated with a Masters Degree in Acting. Vara is now represented by Cre8 Talent Agency for TV, Film and Commercial work and is also currently in her 200 hour Vinyasa Yoga teacher training. She looks forward to the year ahead!
