OUR AIM
S.A.A.P.A. is an Association incorporated in terms of Section 21 and is therefor a non-profit organization. The aim of the South African Association of Performing Arts is to provide opportunities for up and coming Performing Artists including: Dancers, Actors, Models, Vocalists and Instrumentalists. The aim of S.A.A.P.A. is not only to provide the platform for young stars to perform, but to establish a national umbrella where all studio’s, institutions and individuals can achieve national accreditation under the same rules and regulations. S.A.A.P.A. is not bias towards any competition and has an identity of its own as set apart in their constitution. S.A.A.P.A. provides an umbrella body under which all performers can be equal regardless of training, ethnicity, religion, gender or age.
S.A.A.P.A. forms the umbrella body for South African Performing Arts throughout all 9 provinces and provides an opportunity for young performers to obtain their District and Provincial Colours in a Professional and Official manner. A criterion has been established and a constitution has been written which has been registered with national Government.
Official Affiliation forms are available for both institutions as well as competing or performing individuals. A National Executive Committee has been appointed, and Provincial Committees are at present being formed to cover all aspects of the Performing Arts throughout the country.
